mark poulson
Is there such a thing? I pour my own Ika bodies, and find the softest ones seem to get bitten best. But they are one or two fish baits, and I'd like to find a plastic that will hold up, and still be soft. Any help is appreciated.
Slammingjack
CCM hard is the best hard I tired. Still had real good action for a hard. I use MF 464 now, good stuff. I don't know what your using. But if you go to MF pick up their shad 2.25" mold and their 7" round worm mold. $10.00 each caught a lot of fish on them. Those hard poly. mold last a long time. That shad mold I have pour a few 100 times and it has not dulled yet.
DaBehr
I use CCM medium with the high density additive. It makes the baits significantly more durable. I don't think it effects the action of bass baits (that I can see). Being gray...it does mess with light colors.
ipt
use soft plastic, you're trying to catch fish right? not save money? one or two fish is fine for a bait, esp if you are making them yourself, remelt broken ones

I use an Iovino worm welder and repair them right there on the boat. But I was hoping.... I usually buy med., and add softener, salt, and scent. ipt
Medium softener and salt is the way to go! Salt will save you money too. It's basically a cutting agent

It's basically a cutting agent I kinda figured that, too. I was just hoping that there was a magic plastic out there that would work straight out of the jug. MonteSS
4 oz of any medium plastic. 2 tablespoons of do-it HD. These baits will be same fall rate as a IKA and just as soft. You can add 1 tablespoon softener if you want real soft. You will catch a ton of fish on each bait. Best hook is the Owner with the twist lock. Hey IPT. I gave a customer your name for the special craws. Did he contact you?

MonteSS
Make an opaque color like Black, Green Pumpkin, Grape, Whitr, ETC. And glitter wont show up well either.
mark poulson
I plan to make an opaque white body with large black flake, and use clear skirts with flake for contrast.
