muskiestalker51
Sorry folks if this as been hashed over couldn't find what I wanted to know in search. I put a coat of devcon on to cover the edges of the foil an I noticed on the drying wheel that I have too much on the sides of the bait. So can I lightly sand these runs an put a light coat over them. Will this kill the luster
BobP
When you sand epoxy and cover it with new epoxy, the new stuff make all the scuff marks disappear and will restore the luster.
Musky Glenn
All the lures where I have epoxied over foil have dulled the foil to some degree. That is still the best "chrome" that I can achieve for myself. I have tried rattle cans and can't get as much shine as foil. RayburnGuy
Have you tried polishing the foil before you apply it Glenn? I use a Dremel with the polishing pad and polish they have in their attachment kit to really brighten up the finish on the foil. Ben
