I fish alot of rip rap and an am looking at a round head gammie mold from DO it. I like lighter weights and seem to have less snags with a modified wacky rig mold ( a lighter weight ) i made and that mold is the closest i can find ... any thoughts ? DaBehr Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 My favorite all around jig...and I use it with spider grubs...is the Do-it Arky. You get a good fall with this jig with the spider grubs and then I crawl it along the bottom very slowly (like the Biffle Bug rig)....a slow on the bottom crank bait! That curve dish head really does well crawling along the bottom. Since I make my own...and don't mind (as much) loosing them to the occasional snag, I often make them without the weed guard by cutting the aluminum pin a bit short which leaves a tiny stub where the weed guard was.
