jholland
What companies are you guys and gals using to print your stickers that are applied to your poly bags of soft plastics? I have kicked around the idea of having my own bag printed up but it is more expensive than what I plan on doing which is selling to my fishing buddies. That being said, I would like nice looking packaging and plan on having stickers made and apply directly to the bag. I have done some research that suggests you can print on your own to a weatherproof sticker but it will smear once worm oil is rubbed across the label. Has this been anyone's experience? I would love to hear from the people that have been in the game for a long time and have tons of wisdom on the matter. I am willing to bet there is a way to produce good-looking packaging in small quantities but I have not found it yet. Thanks in advance!! Jonah
If you're just selling to your buddies, why not use Avery address labels and design and print them yourself? They probably won't stay on the bags forever but you're not putting them in stores either. This would be the least expensive way to go
Fish Candy Bait Company
I use Avery 8164 for my bags. You get 150 labels for about $12. That label will not peal off without damaging the label. You can not remove them and reapply. Avery has a free program to use with their products that allows you to easily design and print them. bass100
Go to www.onlinelabels.com They are way way cheaper than Avery labels and their is no shortage of options. I ran my business using these labels. I have never had a label smear from oil but I have had them smear if I don't let the ink dry after I take it out of the printer. You get free templates with each label so you can make your own. Just download to your computer and start creating. When you order just make sure you get the labels that are for your computer, inkjet or laser.
JSC
You can get a "Smear" with an Ink Jet pinted label (ink jet is cheaper) . Laser is another story but Higher priced especialy Multi Color. On Line Labels offer a good quality label at a good price and they match up with Avery (which is the standard for printer labels)
