grundlman
I need to temporarily modify one of my molds to make some custom prototypes. I have tried the poly clay and it will not harden up. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to be able to use it then use a dremel or scraper to get it out of there. Thanks Jason

smalljaw
JB Weld High Temp Epoxy Putty, I use it to make weed guard slots smaller and to eliminate collars on small jigs.Once you are done with it you can usually just pop it out but I know my 1 mold I used it the epoxy popped out after 23 pours so I just put it back in but it isn't hard to get out. Jig Man
We discussed this once before. Just be sure not to use the regular JB Weld. It will stay forever. Since that discussion I have used the epoxy putty to get rid of some collars. It seems to be working just fine. (Thanks to smalljaw.) Jig Man
I may have gotten mine at Lowe's. It has been a long time and I don't remember.
