Felix77
I am trying to find a good combination of skirt tabs which I can use to imitate a Yellow Perch. Was wondering if any of you have any suggestions. I generally buy my skirts from fishingskirts.com but I am not opposed to try elsewhere. smalljaw
Check out the link I'm going to put here for you Felix, it is "real bait" skirt material from LPO and for a 42 0r 44 strand skirt I use number 111 which is yellow perch, it has a gold color to it so what I is use 1 full tab of that with 1/2 tab of a watermelon barbed wire skirt on top and 1/2 tab of white on the bottom and you could even add 2 or 3 strands of orange under the white for some added color. http://lurepartsonline.com/Shop-By-Category/Silicone-Material/Real-Bait-Skirt-Material.html

smalljaw
That looks way closer than what I suggested! Mark, I use Barlows, LPO, and Fishingskirts because all of them have material unique to them, the 'Real Bait" skirts are nice and can be used on their own but I like to use them as a base and add accent colors like a dark back and light bottom. Just got my order of stuff and quickly put together a Yellow Perch Swim Jig. I love that LPO skirt. It's perfect for the Yellow Perch IMO.
