LedHed
About the only thing I sell is my UL jigs and I try not to do it (more fish for me). I make my jigs for personnel consumption so I use premium hooks, clean the eyes and triple+ powdercoat paint. I don?t have a sale price, so what I end up doing is laying out a bunch of jigs out in front of me and ask, ?Would I pay $10 for these?? Markell ? color? CJ ? same as last time? Celticav ? enough ultra-lites? Sign me up for the Saltwater swap - when it happens. Can ship anytime.
Markell
Ledhead, I do not have a color preference. I am more interrested in seeing what others make than getting something to use. Most of my jig fishing consists of my standard flippin jig. I have a few specialty jigs that I have been playing around with and starting with the next swap I will try to include those. I have not thought about it untill now but some of you guys are prabably getting tired of my standard jigs. For future swaps I will try to include somehing a little different. siebler_custom_baits
ledhed: i wouldnt mind seeing the other stuff you make but if you want to then go ahead with what i got last time. Those baits are great and i need to go out and throw them soon.
Celticav
I hear ya Ledhed, we will get one coming up and I have a box full of saltwater stuff from the past couple of years worth of swaps that I can donate. Glad your with us on this one. You sent me a large ballhead last time with a deep throat Owner hook and a wicked glitter finish that I like alot. I drilled and glued in a fiber weedgaurd, its gonna work great for heavy cover so don't feel restricted to ultra lights unless you just wanna. Kudos on that finish, works well with in any water color. I am like Markell and think it is fun to see the colors that turn up in these swaps. brian ranger619
if any of you guy's have "color" and "sizes" you want made, please let me know with a PM and I will try to make them up for you. I make round rubber jig's from scratch so getting what you want is no big deal for me. also I do tie some small jig's with "frog's hair" rubber for the Ultra Lite guy's. 1/16oz to 3/16oz. jiust let me know. see ya!! brian

LedHed
Brian ranger619 Anything real small and dark. If you?re interested in UL jigs let me know.
cavu
Celticav I would like in the swap if it isn't to late. I'll keep the jigs small so they can be used in either salt or fresh water. Is anyone interested in the new line of Do It Jigs that look like shad minnows (see my avatar)? I have all the sizes including the small ones. If so what colors will be best for fresh wate. I use a lot of greens and blues on white for salt water.
Tm Customs
cavu, That jig looks cool Id like some, the colors I have the best luck with for jigs in fresh water are any that resemble minnows of shad. Tm

Celticav
I have sent a pm to all involved, let me know if you didn't get it, thanks guys, JIM
Celticav
One more thing guys, just to clarify any confusion: each of you should send me a package with one swap pack per participant...thats 12 swap packs total. The swap pack cost is $10.00 per pack and thats retail cost and not your building cost. So if you sell or if you would sell your jigs for $2.50 apeice then 4 jigs per participant is what you send. This is just to keep everything fair for those involved, this should put some of the packs you get having multiple jigs but some may only have one but this way everyone receives back what they have invested into it themselves. Just be fair to us and fair to yourself, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JIM
Celticav
Hey guys, I have been approached with an idea about us auctioning off one pack of mixed jigs from the swap and letting the rest of the guys fro the TU community bid on it. If redg8r doesn't mind then I think it is an excellent idea, any interested can send an extra swap pack for this as if there were 13 participants, whatever money this brings I would be glad to divide and paypal back to whoever joins in this swap auction to cover shipping costs, flaunt, etc. As always I have faith in you guys, this is your community after all...we just edit out your cusswords, LOL. As always redg8r stills pays the bills here for us and has veto power, but he is easy-going, fun-loving, and always seems to enjoy this stuff as much as any of us do. Lets get a consesus on those interested in letting the TU community at large bid on one of our swap packages and we can go from there. siebler_custom_baits
im good with this. what about just keeping the one we send for ourselfs? cause i got 12 packs almost done and no extra baits .
LedHed
Great idea. I would like to see my jigs auctioned and the proceeds going towards TU. I think I?ve got more from this site than TU can get from one pack of jigs.
brian ranger619
I'm in! but I do like the idea of using the extra bag we send? just for auction purpose's my jig's are $5000 each....................... no exception LOL!! brian
Celticav
I think this idea is getting better and better! Seems to be gaining momentum in a couple of other posts also. I am going to run with auctioning off the extra packs so no one need build anything more than what they had already intended. Helping pay the light bill here is an excellent cause so all proceeds will be given to TU unless it offends any participant for whatever reasons. If it does offend you then I ask you to please clearly label your returning swap pack and I will make sure it is excluded from the auction and returned to you with your package. How does this sound? JIM
LedHed
JIM Great idea - like the fact that you aren't making it mandatory. So it's still 12 packs by the 28th.
