Problem Accessing Tu

Recommended Posts

I have 6 computers networked,

2-Win7 64bit

3-Win XP 32 bit

1-Win 8 (hate this one with a passion :flame:)

All have IE and Google Chrome.

I use chrome 99% of the time.

I have one computer Win 7, fresh install, that will not access  TU.

I have attached a pic of what I see when I go to TU from this computer.

I am using IE to write this message and when I click on to go to TU I get this screen for a second and then it loads. I don't have this problem on any of the other computers.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

That one's kinda loaded, but I'll start here.  Since it seems you're only getting partially loaded pages, this piece might help a little....

Could really be any number of reasons this is happening.  IE on that computer could be corrupted and may need to be reset, or maybe your cookies/history/cache is overloaded.  Could even be a virus or spyware that's preventing you from accessing the entire site, but I'd start with the link and see if that helps.

Hey thanks! I tried that and no change. In Chrome, it shows the regular page for a second and then goes to the incomplete screen as shown in my pic.

I have deleted cookies through Internet Options, I have AVG and done a complete scan, no problems, done a couple of malware scans and nothing there. This computer has had very little use on the internet, or anything for that matter.

I'll see if I can try to reinstall IE and Chrome.

I had a similar problem due to some malware.  I erased the book mark for TU and re-entered it, which fixed the problem.

That's a good call!  Hadn't thought of that.................

Also, just resetting IE or Chrome might help, before reinstalling them.

If it does happen to be malware, malwarebytes is the one I use regularly.........and it's free!  It can be downloaded here..............

I've had similar problems in the past and Java was the culprit.  You can download/install the latest version of Java for Windows here.......

Hope this helps  :)
