RiverMan
I'm trying to open some magnum screw eyes and haven't found an easy way to do it. Any suggestions? Thx Jed
gone2long
I'm not trying to bust your chops but the best way to deal with that is to get open eyes their a heck of lot easier to close than to open as I think your finding out. RiverMan
The magnum eyes I'm using come one way, closed. Jed
Don-Art
You might try a nail set or a center punch.
ravenlures
I use a large punch and put them on a vise opened just enough for the punch to go through, works great. Wayne
RayburnGuy
Have you tried bending the eye to one side instead of opening it? Hold the shank of the eye with one pair of pliers and the eye with another pair and bend the eye to one side. Ben
