CHERRYBOMB
So my question is do you guys dip the GST or spray it. And what is your drying time hanging or carousel it?...
Inrll
I dip it and I believe the consensus with everyone is that dipping is the easiest and most efficient way. I think we had a member that did spray but went back to dipping. Its dry to the touch in about 2 hrs but takes about 2 weeks to reach a rock hard cure. mark poulson
Can you redip after two hours?
MuskyGary
How about storing the GST, since it air dries; do you have to use blogen to store the unused portion (much like Dick Nite?)
jwfflipper
I am experimenting with using Createx clear gloss over vinyl dots on my lures (I use them for shad dots and cut them in half for gill ears). The problem I had with GST is it made the vinyl curl up and ruined that bait. I tried the gloss but it was very thick so I diluted it a bit like you would a paint...is this correct? Try Tree House Brand High Gloss. I get mine at Michaels
rhersh
Can you redip after two hours? Mark I try to wait at least 2 hrs between dips. So yes you can.
Mad Moose Baits
Try Tree House Brand High Gloss. I get mine at Michaels Thanks! Will it need diluted or can it be used straight? Just curious.
nedyarb
Muskyjerry, there are not any storage issues that I'm aware of. I keep mine in mason jars!

FrogAddict
Here's the GST process that works for me (and others that I've seen) Heat set all paint layers Spray Createx Clear Coat (I do 2 coats) Dip in GST (I use a recycled pasta jar) Let hang for 2 hours min. Dip again, repeat this for 3-4 cycles The bait is fully cured in 2-3 weeks As much as you want to mess with any drips, wait until the bait cures and take care of them then. Use a wire hanging from the lowest hook hanger to help redirect the drips away from the eye.
