ROWINGADUBAY Posted February 10, 2014 Report Share Posted February 10, 2014 I received an old round head weedless mold it makes 1/32 to 3/8 oz round head jigs it is suppose to use a YG-3 and YG-4 I am wondering If I can use a FG 9 or FG 12 as a substitute and if so what size drill and or drill rod should I get to use as base hole pins? cadman Posted February 11, 2014 Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 If my memory serves me correctly, the YG-1 is 1/8" diameter and the YG-4 is 1/16" diameter. So the YG-3 will be somewhere in between. So with smalljaws info, you will be pretty limited to what jig head you are going to put a .062 weedguard in. Maybe 3/16 oz, but probably 1/4 oz and up.
