Jaw
Has anyone tried the cs seal coat on any acrylic paint yet I ordered some but have yet to try it
Tracy G
I didn't like it very much. It is fairly tough, but it just didn't set up as hard as i would like. If you brush it on, you will need a soft bristle brush, to avoid leaving brush strokes.

Hokieangler
I have used it on jigs and it did well ! I don't know about crankbaits !
Jaw
Thanks may try using it as a sealer then paint then epoxy for hard clear coat
toadfrog
Didn't like it for tough fishing conditions . I agree with Jaw . Using it as a sealer might be ok . Iwould finish coat with epoxy . I generally use Klass Kote . They will formulate it to the viscosity you need . Also on epoxy, If you mix more than you need put it in the freezer . This will buy you more time before it sets to the point you can't use it . Generally three days more or less .
Tracy G
I use it only on novelty baits now. I spray it through my airbrush, but have to back the needle out and clean the brush often.
Jaw
Was hoping it would be durable enough where I could use it as a finish coat to eliminate air bubbles
sunkist
I recently met a friend of a friend that has been building crankbaits for 15 years or so and it is all he uses. 3 dips with a 6-8 hour dry time between dips. I just bought a gallon and have dipped a few baits so far. Here are some warts I dipped just to show you what the clear looks like. Very smooth and glossy, lighter than epoxy.
