Tm Customs Posted June 29, 2004 Report Share Posted June 29, 2004 Hey all you tube guys, I want to know what I need to buy to make tubes? What plastic formulas do you use, how much hardener and salt? Where can I buy a tube cutter or what is the cheapest way to make a good one? I am just planning on making tubes for myself for now I understand they involve a great deal of work, but I want some new sizes and colors that no one else makes. Please post any helpful tips you've found to tube making. Thanks, Tm PS what do you use to give them the strong scent where do you guy it? charkins Posted June 30, 2004 Report Share Posted June 30, 2004 I use Lure Craft 300 saltwater plastic and I use their tube cutter as well. There are better cutters around, but this is cheap and works well enough if you are only doing it for yourself and your friends and family. Ever notice how many friends and family you have when you are making baits? Oh yea, be sure to put plenty of worm oil on the cutter before you use it. I use 5 inch bolts in varying sizes do dip with.
