nedyarb
Does anybody own this mold? If so do you like it? It seems like it would add some action to the lure.
cadman
Yes, I have that mold. Since they have corrected the wire form that goes in there, the overall appearance is much nicer. Never had any problems pouring it. I have not fished it yet, but plan to this summer. Edited February 24, 2014 by cadman
gone2long
Do a search on the web for the Biffle head and how they like it, for the most part their the same.
Painter1
I ordered one of the first molds and had some trouble with the largest cavity. Do-It replaced the mold with a new one and it pours very well. We had some good luck with a similar jig last spring on Tablerock, cranking it along rocky bottom. I am curious what hooks people are using with this. I have poured with several but have not had a chance to fish them yet.
cadman
I plan on using offset worm hooks. I got some free Trokars, so I'm going to try them out.

Cadman, be careful with the Trokars, you may end up liking them....A lot!!!! I got a free pack of TK-100 HD worm hooks, I liked them so much I got a couple packs, 1 more of the 3/0 HD worm hook which I use for soft plastic jerkbaits like a fluke because they don't slide down on them like what happens with an EWG style and they have no problem penetrating through the plastic. I alos got 2 packs of the TK-110 and the TK-120 EWG worm hooks, the 120 has heavier wire and I also got 3 packs of 4/0 TK-130 straight shank flipping hooks, I use those for T-rigging sweet beavers in lily pads so I use braid and those hooks. I know you'll like them.
