DR609BASS
Hey guys I was wondering if adding small glitter to powder paint would work? Does anyone do this also?
FishAction
I have good results with ultra fine size flake in clear powder paint. Paint then clear coat with glitter flake mix. Tried in darker colors but didn't work out well for me. Not much flash that way. Charlie
LedHed
I mix CCs holographic "additive" glitter in a lot of my custom mixed paints.
mark poulson
I do it with my brown and green powders. I add .15 purple, red, or green soft plastic glitter, and it comes out okay. The more you use, the more it shows, and the heat doesn't seem to affect it, at least for me. But I found that top coating with clear nail polish with glitter in it shows up more. JBarlow
We used to mix our worm glitter in powder paint to sell before Component Systems started making glitter paint. Worked just fine...just be sure the glitter you use is designed to handle the high temperature. Not all glitter will work with heat.
