archery1
i watched video of the bt twin injector. it looks nice.. may have some quirks????? but i own several injectors and most are same size.. so,etimes when i shoot laminates the 1 injector seems to start before the other making the bait have more of 1 color.. i saw they have a bar across top. and was wondering if i fabbed one of these do u guys think this would help? i dont no bt might sell a blending block and that bar if i ask?> any thoughts or experience from the twin injector system would be helpful my blending block is much smaller than the 1 in video so i thought maybe i would need their blending block since that bar that holds injectors together is wider thanks in advance Edited March 26, 2014 by archery1
ipt
they make a blending block that holds most standard width injectors side by side basically touching eachother. you dont need the dual injector, if you press down at the same speed you'll be fine. and if they arent 100% perfect then thats even better if you ask me. not too many straight lines in nature! Frank
The main thing about the Twinjector is the whole system. It's not just the top cross bar it's the whole design. It is designed top fill both injectors at the same time so they start at the same height and pressure is even. The middle cross bar is just as important because of the rigidity it adds and eases the loading onto the blending block. As for buying parts from them I don't think they ever sold parts other than the blending block. To many variables and each set is fine tuned by his father before they are shipped. If you saw the video on there site, there has been a few changes since that was made. That set was the first set ever produced. Now the top caps are longer, the tubes have a little more length and what you won't see in the video is the blending block has deeper channels to keep the plastic flowing. The block also has a removable handle that with the aid of you hand will keep the block and injectors together while moving from mold to mold. I use a larger thumb screw to do the same thing now. Hope this helps.
edgecrusher
Frank have you used the bait junkys unit? Have any thoughts after comparing the two?
Frank
Frank have you used the bait junkys unit? Have any thoughts after comparing the two? No still have the same ones from its beginning. Seems to be pretty much the same idea. It would take something that would make a huge difference to make me change or try. I know what I can do with these Twinjectors and haven't seen anything faster. At least in my mind. Oh and one other thing these things are built like tanks and will last a lifetime.
