Jig Man
I use the coated cable wires in 90# test Sevelon and Surflon were then names for them. I have bought them from Cablea's and BPS. Edited March 29, 2014 by Jig Man
cadman
I use the McMaster Carr stainless steel Spring Steel wire. It works really well. The current Do-It wire is (.0115 to .012). So if you want a less springy weedguard wire go up several wire diameters. I might have some different diameters at work, that I could send you as a sample to see what you want to buy. It will have to wait till Monday though. PM me your mailing info if you are interested. Edited March 29, 2014 by cadman
Roadkill
I use a stainless steel (.024) wire.. A little heavier but the Bass haven't seemed to notice LOL.
JBarlow
I molded up a bunch last year and just put 2 of the Do-It guards in each one. I was in a rush to get out and go fishing so I did the easiest thing I could think of. When I have more time I will make my own wire guards.
