bladesandbaits
Can it be found in Matt Finish? Is there an additive to make it Matt finish? Regards, Blades
Seeking 56
http://www.woodworking.com/ww/Article/Rubbing-Out-The-Final-Step-to-a-Great-Finish-7436.aspx You got me curious, so I did a search and found this link. About half way down they talk about rubbing down to a satin finish from gloss. I could see this working on Etex since it's a tabletop epoxy. Who knows, could work with other clearcoats as well. I may have to try this myself. Thanks for posting this. s56 Edited April 16, 2014 by Seeking

hazmail
Try talc mixed in clear coat - or spray paint shops sell 'matting base' which can be mixed with compatible clears. Pete
mark poulson
The gloss finish is the strongest, so you might be better off knocking off the gloss after it's cured.
