Dink Master
Storm ThinFin ?
flbasspond
Thanks DM..but I dont think so...I've handled a lot of Thin Fins but never seen one with the textured sides...this is the feature that leads me to think its a Rebel product. The texturing on the sides of the bait is just like an older Rebel crankbait or topwater. -Dave

ArdentAngler
Rebel Racket Shad, seen a few pop up with bibs in them.
flbasspond
Thanks AA...but this is a silent bait- and I believe the Racket Shad had rattles and was a bit thicker bait than this - Dave P.S. "bibs" ?
ArdentAngler
Yeah the racket shad was Rebel version to the rattling rapala yet there were two versions.; One had a lip and the other didn't. These were available in 1972 Bibs are bills
flbasspond
OK...thanks for the clarification- I remember Rat-L-Traps tried the same thing with the bill years ago. I have had all of my "older" (I'm 58) bass fishing buddies look at it and even though a couple said it looked familiar none could stick a nane to it. I found it in a lot of used crankbaits I bought off of Ebay in 2003 or 4. It appears to be in pretty good shape- no scatches or dings although the "bib" has yellowed a bit from age. -Dave

Cougarftd
It's called the Rebel Thin Minnow...there is one on Ebay now Edited April 17, 2014 by Cougarftd
flbasspond
Thanks Cougarftd...that appears to be it...a friend told me when he saw this one that whoever made it had a larger size also...this one is just shy of 3/8 of an ounce and the one on ebay is a 1/2 oz so it looks like he was correct also....you guys are the best!! -Dave
ArdentAngler
Huh? Well mea culpa, I missed the more ovate shape on the bottom. At first glance it really reminded me of the Racket Shad. Good eye cougar!
