nedyarb
I never could get the jonestones to stay on the lure when I ripped the plastic cover off!
nova
What you need is stamping foil. Do a search for that. Mylar won't work well as it is too thick. Edited April 30, 2014 by nova
GillGrabber
Awesome lures. Thanks for the source.
BobP
Just a thought: 3M sells various adhesive spray glues. Perhaps it would be useful to specify which one works?
NEO_LURES
Sorry to sound like a super noob, but, what do you mean by "burnish"? I'm assuming you mean to heat the 3m glue with maybe a lighter or small micro torch of some sort. Is this correct? Or is my noobism extra string today? Haha
nova
Don't use an open flame on the glue; you'll be sorry. Lay the foil on the glue which is on the bait. The burnishing is done with a tool ( I use a plastic stick that has a soft end so as not to tear the foil). You rub or "burnish" the mylar that holds the foil so it sticks to the glued areas. Then you peel the mylar off and the foil transfers to the bait.
