Mudd Butt Baits
I made this bait, and it was intended for bass, but guys keep asking how it does on walleye? I a can not give the a real answer as I have never tried it. Guys have said it should work really well on a jig. What do you think? As the bait is sitting still, the tail of the bait will rise up, when is is being used like a swim bait it will roll from 3 to 9 o-clock. It seems to come through the water really nice. Just don't walleye fish, thanks.

alsworms
If the tail accurately does as you said, then you've got a really nice bait there.
Mudd Butt Baits
What do you mean if it does what it says? Get a hold of me if you are fishing for walleye right now and I will get you some. Muddbuttbaits@hotmail.com
alsworms
What do you mean if it does what it says? Get a hold of me if you are fishing for walleye right now and I will get you some. Muddbuttbaits@hotmail.com Sorry - didn't mean that in a negative way. Speaking from experience, swimbaits are one of the THE most criticized lures because of the various actions. Depending on your mold and materials, each bait could have a different action in the water. Not saying this is the case with yours. I don't know how many you've made, but if you can get every single bait to act the way you described, then you have a great little lure there. The toughest challenge for a swimbait maker is to achieve that perfect consistency and roll with it. I can honestly say that if you advertise a bait to react a certain way, the first thing a fisherman will do is test it to see if it's accurate. Just my Good luck! Mudd Butt Baits
I didn't take in as a bad post, sorry. How do you get you a pack? I have made about 1500 of them. Caught 8 bass this morning on them, seem to work nice. I do not walleye fish so looking to find someone.

aulrich
Color wise I would say add chartuse(sp?) and florescent orange, what I would consider the two basic walleye colors.
