Jaw
I order a quart of dual cure polyester gloss solarez it can be cured using the chemical additive (can't remember the name and I don't have it with me)or with uv rays but it says on the can to still add the additive but less of it. I had a balsa body that I messed up so I went ahead and dipped it and left it in the sun awhile seemed to still cure hard without the additive. My question is does the solarez you guys use also say this on the can or did I buy the wrong stuff and get lucky when it cured right Edited May 22, 2014 by Jaw
BobP
My jug says the same thing. Don't worry, you bought the right stuff. It can be cured under UV light or with MEKP. I don't know whether MEKP makes it any harder or faster because I haven't tried it but UV works just fine.
