nedyarb
Does anybody else own this mold? Here's the story, I bought 30 birch bug lures off ebay to try and see if I liked them. Well I did so I bought a two cavity mold from do it (caney creek). I can not get the mold to stop flashing on the ribs. It's honestly not a huge issue, I don't think the fish would even see it. But I don't like the look, and the ones from eBay did not have it. I have to say, I contacted do it, I talked to Ryan and he went out of his way to help me. He even sent me another mold at no charge. Which was great customer service, however it still does it! I am using bears medium plastic, and a presto pot set at 300. Slow pressure. Here's a couple pics. Please advise if you have any suggestions. Rob

Apdriver
Have you tried moving your clams around? I'd use a couple C clamps on it and experiment with placement and clamp pressure.
nedyarb
Thanks I've been using the cobalt rubber clamps. I will try the heavier duty c clamps
toadfrog
C clamps or gang them together in a horizontal piston clamp . Will need spacers between the molds to keep from interfering with the injector.
