dan1942
I was really wanting to make my own bladed jigs for my own personal use. I really like this style (see pic) and the head shape and the fact that it does not use a swivel to connect. I am wondering if something like this could be made from a poison jig mold using a spinnerbait hook with a connector like this http://lurepartsonline.com/Shop-By-Category/Misc-Hardware/Figure-8-Links.html has anyone on here done something like this or have some advice. thanks in advance!! BassBull
Haven't tried that way yet !! Like a lot of guys I know just take their mold and work a grove to hold some type of wire and bend it back around with a round nose pliers. Looks like it should work !! Any thing is worth a try , it won't brake the bank on parts so give it a try. Good luck.....STEVE
Apdriver
You can take a regular jig mold, I use an Arkie style, and put a Teflon pin in the weedguard slot right up to the jig cavity and pour it. This will give you a jig without a weedguard. You can then take center punch and open the eye on your hook enough to fit the blade. Then close the eye with a pair of pliers. Now your blade is attached without a split ring.
mark poulson
Just be sure the hook you want to use will let you open and close the eye first.
Darkman
to do it the way your talking about you would need to modify the mold....good luck bro
