BassBull
I have a problem with the dye going bad. (?) I leave it on the deck of my boat all the time and after a week and a half it no longer dye's the lures that are dipped into it. Has any one else ran into this ? Do you think leaving it in the hot sun is killing the chemical ? This is not just a one time thing, it's being doing this on me for years and I've tried a lot of ways to stop it with no luck. Another thing is after I dip about a dozon times it starts getting darker. Does anyone wrince off the lures before dipping? Haven't tried that yet. Any help is appr. and thanks a head of time. smallmouthaholic
My dye never leaves the shop so i've never experienced that problem baits are prepared in advance Why not call the manufacturer and as him? cadman
I haven't used a lot of it until recently. I only put in dry craws, worms and lizards. I don't know if that matters or not, but I've don't have a problem with it. I keep my bottle in my plastics bag, and that sits in the sun, but the bottle is never exposed to the sun. So I can't say. Best to call the manufacturer as stated above.
mark poulson
The sun will change the color of the chartreuse dip. I keep mine in a storage compartment. I've had better luck with their dye pens. I leave them in a sst bowl I put my pedestal through on the bow. They last for years in the sun. The caps fade, but the dye inside stays good.
