robalo01
I have been asking a lot of questions and getting great info lately. I thought I might give a little back. I got tired of tossing out so many little mixer cups. I poured about 50-60 ml of RTV into the bottom of an aluminum can. The rounded bottom is great for mixing 5 min epoxy. Everything runs to the middle and once it dries you just peel it out and toss the left over epoxy.

wchilton
Nice tip! I've been using a round-bottom silicone bakeware bowl for a while for mixing casting resin but hadn't thought to do the same for mixing epoxy. A while back I found some disposable "cups" that hospitals use for bringing meds to patients and they right size plus have ml markings on the side for measuring. mark poulson
A word of caution. If you plan to use beer cans, be sure they are empty. Otherwise, they may be unstable due to the pull tab. That's my excuse, anyway. Hahaha
