Westy
Does anyone know of an online source for 1/16" lexan pieces? I am looking to make some lure lips and cannot find a source. Thanks. Westy
Nathan
Westy, Check with your local glass shops. The 1/8th in. is easy to find, the 1/16th may take a little looking. Offer to buy the scraps,it's a fraction of the cost, and you'll get some huge pieces for almost nothing...Nathan
count draculure
Hi Westy, You might be able to cut lips from an old CD. I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet; but they are about 1/16" thick and hard to break. Might be worth a try...... the Count
Skeeter
Ask for either polycarbonate or Lexan. They are the same thing. Lexan is the trademark name G.E. gave polycarbonate. They created the stuff. 1/16 is .060 thick. I get mine from http://www.lairdplastics.com. Skeeter
Volp1
Another great source for Lexan as well as host of other materials is McMaster Carr. http://www.mcmaster.com/ Give them a try. Volp1
