robalo01
http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/index.php?/gallery/image/13446-bass-chopper/ This is a lure I made back in 2003. Mini-lathe, white pine, rattle cans, hand brushed details. The D2T is still holding up! Stephen
mark poulson
That looks great! I have a rattle can douglas fir Punker I made back then, finished with only multiple coats of rattle can primer, paint, and clear, and it is still in good shape. Oil-based paints soak into wooden lures and last. I only went to water based air brush paints because I could get more colors, and better detailing. Otherwise, I'd still be using rattle cans.
