nedyarb
I wear these from harbor freight Edited July 6, 2014 by nedyarb
mark poulson
I wear these from harbor freight I have a pair of those. They always felt clumsy when I tried to use them for hand pouring, but they do keep the heat out.
Richard Prager
Great for ktchen oven too! Beats a pair of pot holders!
Apdriver
Mark, I have the same problem with those big gloves. Just not nimble enough for me. Here's what I've been using and have been really satisfied with them. Cheap too. http://www.amazon.com/Rubber-Coated-Gloves-Crinkle-Pattern/dp/B000PHIHQM
mark poulson
Thanks Apdriver. I'll check those out. I use leather Wells Lamont work gloves right now. They are not as bulky, but they don't block the heat as well, either.
Painter1
I use the nitrile gloves and they have saved from burns a couple times, though I did peel them off pretty quick after the hot plastic spilled. I have a shop apron that I bout at Duluth Trading and I keep the gloves in the pockets. On for pouring and off for demolding/ http://store.do-itmolds.com/Nitrile-Gloves_p_328.html Apron http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/product/bib-apron-best-damn-shop-apron-96543.aspx?kw=shop%20apron&processor=content

How long does a pair last?
Painter1
A pair has lasted me about a year. I have worn a hole in 2 right gloves at the index finger but am still on the original left one.
