Kasilofchrisn
I have read on here of guys trying plastic drinking straws. dip the straw in powder plug the end with your finger then release your finger and tap over the weight while it is hot. You can find different size plastic straws to get different size dots. The red plastic coffee stirrers are a good size to try and their free. I haven't tried it myself so good luck. smalljaw
Get yourself the Component systems Quick Coat Lure Markers in which ever color you want, not many but they have the basics, and use it. The thing with these is that they are not a sharpie, they are filled with actual paint and the paint is released by pushing down on the tip, you shake it up and it even has a ball in it like a rattle can. Anyway, they come with six felt tips, there is a chisel tip, a fine tip and a round tip to make round dots, tap it and you get a small dot, put it on and leave for 1 second and you get a larger dot. The only thing is you have to be patient when first using them as it takes a little bit for the paint to fill the tip, I say you shake it for a good 30 seconds and then insert the tip and push down and hold for 15 seconds and then you wait and you will see the paint load into the felt tip, you may have to give it another push to get it saturated just so you know.
