texacan84
I'm hoping someone can help. I have seen a few 2"-3" minnow lures with a light tan or brown color what also looked like it had pearl in it, in which case it was catching fish. I know it may be a pretty simple color to do but I have been wrong before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...George
tacklecrafter
Try Carolina pumpkin and a pearlescent mix
nova
Try white with a little brown(drop at a time); Then add your pearl.
Jig Man
I use one drop of pumpkin seed and 1 drop of motor oil to two oz of plastisol.
alsworms
George.....you happen to have a pic of the baits? My mind is telling me pearl white with a drop or 2 of LC's amber brown. Have we confused you enough? LOL
texacan84
Confused? That's an understatement...LMBO. no Chris I don't have a pic of it. I was fishing at the river when a guy caught a hybrid and I just happen to see it as he was pulling it out of it's mouth. I was doing some pearl white the other night for a customer and had some left over so I tried adding some brown, it didn't turn out very well, I may have had to much white (LW)in it (20 drops for 8oz plastisol) don't really know. I do thank everybody that has helped. Thanks..George
Slammingjack
LC makes a Tan. Maybe adding a little pearl white. I use the tan for the top part of White shrimp baits.
