robalo01
I wish I had thought of this http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b602/Stephen_Ashcraft/Sandingblocks_zps68e340c8.jpg
gone2long
I think Paul Adams showed that in one of his video's but I hadn't thought about it for hard wood but why not seems simple enough.
mark poulson
That is similar to what Hazmail (Pete) did with a wooden disc. He tooled a semicircular channel in the edge, and then glued in overlapping pieces of sanding cloth, so he can sand a radius on a blank really fast. Travis
I had made a few discs and used a nut/bolt for a shaft and and ran them on the drill press to shape balsa lures. Worked ok but I didn't use it but on a few lures.
old1ncal
I made several using PVC Pipe that I split on a bandsaw, then mounted with epoxy to a block. I use spray glue to hold the sandpaper to the pipe. I made one using 1/2 ID, 3/4 ID PVC pipe, and one that I made with a scrap of copper pipe that I split. Pipe is cheaper than hardwood
HAWGFAN
I've made a couple, and they work well. I bore a hole with a drill, then split with a saw. I used school glue to attach my sandpaper. You can remove it with warm water to replace the paper.
