odinohi
What is the best humidity level for powder painting? I have an outdoor building here in Ohio and that is where I paint and also store my powder. I have a dehumidifier going out there now. Last winter/early spring I didn't use it and didn't have many problems with the paints I was using. This year I have several of the heavier, stubborn paints. I am also making some fluid bed cups with different media. Can't wait to try that. Getting back to the dehumidifier, I have it set on 40% and it seems to keep it right around there. Thanks for any advice, Tom
cadman
Tom, No humidity is the best for fluid beds. Although I don't have any percentages for you, my best fluid bed success with heavy stubborn powder was in winter, when the season is driest. LimpNoodle
Might try a vibration table. I'm going to build one soon. Got the tapered spring feet today. I've got the sander and cookie sheet. Just need to get some hardware to attach the feet.
