Silo1688
Hey everyone. I was doing some searching about Devon 2 Ton and I noticed there was two different packaging. I was wondering if they were the same. Devcon 2 Ton: Home (clear) and the Devcon 2 Ton: All Purpose (clear). Both has a drying time of 30 minutes. Both have same bonding quality. Which one does everyone use and trust? I've been using E-tex lite and wanting to try something else. Thanks again! --George
JBlaze
Good Question, I have never before seen the Home version but have used many packs of the one in the blue pkg, always with good results. will be interested in what others have to say about this "Home version". Thanks for showing. John
BobP
I bet Devcon just wants to increase the appeal by updating the packaging. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it - just about any 30 min slow cure epoxy works fine. Devcon became a standard among bait builders because Walmart used to sell it in double syringes for 2 bucks. But similar brands work just as well according to all reports.
gone2long
Well I hope the one on the left is a good one cause I just did 4 baits with it while waiting for my Bob Smith epoxy to get here Edited September 21, 2014 by Gon2long
mark poulson
Well I hope the one on the left is a good one cause I just did 4 baits with it while waiting for my Bob Smith epoxy to get here Those baits are a total failure, but, if you send them to me, I'll make sure they get a proper burial at sea. HAWGFAN
I've been using the "home" version, both in syringe and bottled packaging. I've had excellent results, and where I fish is very brutal on bait finishes. I believe that Devcon just updated the packaging. If your baits cured properly, you'll be pleased with the results. Jaw
I've used both devcons pictured. The blue packeged one I've bought at lowes. The other is what I get at hobby town . I haven't noticed a difference in either
Don-Art
I have used the home version, and it has worked well.

Skeeter
There is no difference between them. Same stuff. The Home long cure should have Product Number 31345 on the back in the lower right hand corner. Skeeter
CustomBaits4You
I have only used the Devcon Home. It has so far been great, it dries hard as rock in only 24 hours.
Skeeter
If mixed and applied correctly a bait can be used in 12 hrs. Skeeter
TrinityLureCompany
Hey Ken 6645, Great tip thanks for that one. Any time I can save some money I'm all over it. You know "CHEAP"!
Silo1688
You guys are great! Thanks so much. I bought some of the home version and it works great. It thins really easy with denatured alcohol. Brushes on very smooth and evens out very well.

Captain Ron
I tried Devcon 2ton one time and that was over 2 years ago, couldn't wait to find something better. Along came Flex Coat rob builders 2 part epoxy Lite formula and the rest is history. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't get any better than Flex Coat. Yes it is expensive, but it goes a long ways.
