steve71
I'm having trouble getting the black dark enough in my black tubes. It seems no matter how much black dye I put in , I can't get the tentacles solid black looking, they stii look like very dark smoke when i hold them up to the light. Any help would be appreciated. Bassinfool
That is probably due to the fact the tentacles are pretty thin that there's simply not enough plastic to absorb all the light and as a result some of it passes through the bait resulting in a little opacity. The only thing I can suggest is doubling the amount of black and see if that gets them where you want. For colors that require a lot of drops I would suggest looking into Do-it (formerly Caney Creek) X2 colorants. They're very thick, concentrated colorants and require only half the drops you would normally use. They're really nice to have when you are making a bait that needs a lot of drops. Travis
I always have added an opaque color to the mix when you need solid black tails......
mark poulson
Are there transparent plastic colorants vs. opaques, like in air brush paints?
Basseducer
Yes, just about any opaque color has a transparent counterpart.

Cami
Have you ever tried with a black crayon? Crayons are really colour concentrated. Bye. Cami
