Mr_Scrogg
It went fairly well. Wanted to stick in the mold. But I worked it out. Had a few (Football Screwloc) that was loose around the hook. And seemed like I was finagling the screwlocs every time I put them in to get a good seat. My little snips did OK at cutting the "sprew"? Off. Left a little nipple on some I tapped down. Any tips?
Jig Man
A release agent should help with the sticking.
LimpNoodle
Get the purest lead you can get. Make sure the lead is the right temperature. Get some gate shears. They work very well at cutting the sprue off. I got mine at Home Depot in the electrical section.
Mr_Scrogg
I have very pure lead. I have a Hotpot. So no real temp control. Noticed that the surface started getting a "burnt" look to it. I'll check into Gate Shears
LimpNoodle
Was it just one mold with the sticking problem or more than one? The only mold I have that gives me any real trouble is the Do-It Wobble jig mold.
