KelpKritter
Did a search for any info on techniques for painting a fur effect that you would find on a rat or mouse bait and came up with nothing. Does someone who has painted with this style care to share how they get that look. I am wanting to blend two colors to get get that hairlike appearance. Thanks, DaveB. Nathan
Dave, If you want to do it with paint, the best looking ones are painted a solid lighter color back ground then using a fine brush and go back over with a darker color actually painting small hairs on it.Very time consuming but they look very good...Nathan
RayburnGuy
Have you tried looking on YouTube Dave? There are a bunch of videos on how to airbrush fur. Ben
mark poulson
I use a solvent based sharpie to add "fur" to my rats. It's a lot faster than using a brush, and the fish don't seem to care.
KelpKritter
Ben, I did not even think about YouTube. To much technology around me that I forget to use it sometimes! DaveB. KelpKritter
