Big Ray
I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a mealworm colored bait? I want to make some worms in that color but I am not sure what I need to mix to get that color. Edited October 22, 2014 by Big Ray

Frank
Maybe start out without plastic and mix colorant only. The color will change a bit when added to plastic but at least you will be in the nieghbor hood.
mark poulson
The mealworms I've seen have always looked more yellow to me, with dark brown joint and accents. I'd try a yellow with some gold to get the main color, and then add some brown flake, or whatever color flake that looks brownish in the yellow plastic. Here's a link to a whole bunch of mealworm pictures: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=mealworm%20pictures Edited October 23, 2014 by mark poulson
alsworms
Doesn't one of the major companies sell a color called chartreuse pumpkin? Judging from Marks pics, I'd start with that.
MonteSS
Here is my Chart pumpkin. You need the white for creaminess and opaque. http://smokinbaits.net63.net/79.htm Edited October 23, 2014 by MonteSS
mark poulson
I get that warm bone yellow for hardbaits by adding yellow to a base white, and then a drop or two of gold to make it "dirty".
