saltwater swap?

Recommended Posts

I?m in.

JIM ? you knew it was coming?

Flats ? figured it would be you or JIGMAKER that would start it up.

CJ ? going to have to label a tackle box ?CJ?. Big stuff is good, sure it will bump up shipping (oh well).

Would like to see the ?auction pak? continue ? and the rest of you TU members???

I've placed orders for some new custom molds this week. I want to send some new stuff I'm working on also. I would need about 3-4 weeks to get everything in, but I figured this way it would give me the boost I needed.

Also, I'd say we have any type of saltwater baits, not just jigs. Softplastics would be welcome too.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm in if we can get enough guys together. Just need to know the specifics. How many, by when, etc. It would also be helpful to know approximately what size range you want the plugs in. I typically go anywhere between 5" to 8+" depending upon the bait that the bass are feeding on up here.

I'm up for making some jigs for a saltwater swap. Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I've been away from the computer for a few days. A weight limit might be in order. I just recieved a one pound mold that uses a 12/0 hook. Think of the postage on that pakage. :D Not that too many guys would have use for a jig that size. Let me know the details.

8O just how big do those stripers get, I may have to take some rods the next time I'm up there.

Seriously, my wife has friends we visit in Waldorf every year. Any places around to catch striper from land? I haven't been taking my gear because I didn't know any good spots and between us there's 6 young boys. I usually just sneak off to that shop that has all the Do-it molds.

Durring the spring run and late fall, I have seen pictures of stripers over 50 inches caught (mouthes bigger than both of my fists). The norm is 30 to 40 inches durring trophy season.

In the summer the schoolies come in and your lucky to get one over twelve inches from shore. In the spring trolling is a big thing around here. The boats in some cases have 12-16 lines behind the boats. [/url]
