macstackleman
Tip to keep paint out of eye! Cut 1/8" shrink tubing about 3/16 to 1/4 inch long. Slip over eye before heating to paint. When heating to paint tubing grabs onto eye. Before curing just peel off tubing and ready to cure!!
plbass
Whats the reasoning for bending the blade?
VersatileFuturian
The more you bend the blade, the more control you have over the bait. I like to find a happy medium. Where it runs relatively straight on a steady retrieve but when I pop it or speed my retrieve up, it jerks to the side.
mark poulson
You can retrieve a bent blade faster without it rising. Some blades come with two holes in the outer edges, and these seem to allow a slightly faster retrieve without the bait rising, but I bend them anyway. Apdriver
I just get more consistent vibration with the blade bent. I can retrieve it slower with good vibration, in other words. Just slow rolling that puppy along the bottom or right over the top of riprap just touching the tops of the rock every once in a while. Dynamite! Hang on!
