Big Ray
I was trying to use fluorescent orange from lurecraft the other day and when I tried to mix it with the plastisol it just stayed in clumps. It was way different than any other color I have used. So I called lurecraft and the lady told me I have to add it to the plastic at room temperature. I am wondering does that mean I have only one shot at getting the color right. The only thing I can think of is adding it while the plastic is still in that milky looking form and once I do that and it cools again to room temperature it is going to be a glob of Jell-O and I can't add orange to it in that stage. Basseducer
She meant to add it to the plastic before you heat it. You can also mix the colorant with raw plastic in a container and if you need more color put some of the mix in and heat until that cooks so on. ipt
most flo colors like chartreuse need to be added before you heat the plastic.
