caughtonlures*com
http://www.fishing.sh/htmfiles/knots/snelling.html I use to use the Snell Knot machine you are talking about. But found that this link above is much more effective in Snelling Hooks. Try it you will find this to be much easier. All respects to Rudy's Snell Tyer!!! captkenroy
I can snell hooks by hand in seconds. Multiple hooks (like the old artificial worm harness) are duck soup too. Need to snell with 3/4" rope? In a heart beat. Does your Snell Knot go through the eye of the hook? Mine don't and I'll put my knot up against anybodies. Check "Tips and Tricks" on bigbendsportsman.com Look for Snell Knot. If I could figure out how to post a pic here, I'd post the procedure here. Is there another version larger and more geared towards production. thanks for any help. I've got a neat little tool that ties hooks like a snell, it also ties knots for every fishing aplication, It's called the EZ Knot, it's a "cheap" little nail knot tool that's easier to use than any other, takes me about 6 sec. to snell a hook with it http://ezknot.com/Frontpage.htm
