TrinityLureCompany
Gentleman, I need a little help with finding the old school propellers such as are found on the old Heddon lures. I have searched but have only found one source which includes the eye screws, which gets pricey. I am trying to up my game on prop baits since I am going into an art gallery in April so these would look much better than the ones I am used to getting. Any help? Thanks Mike

TrinityLureCompany
Hey Mark this is where I get mine now but its the props that have I guess you would call it a collar attached to the prop. Do you understand what I am talking about. Don't know if that's the correct description. And thanks for the quick answer. Mike
sonoman
Might contact that Kermit Adams guy who tends to reproduce a lot of those old lures I'd be willing to bet he has a source.
TrinityLureCompany
Sonoman, Yeah I figured he would be able to tell me, but I e-mailed him several months ago so I will have to try him again. Thanks Mike
sonoman
...another idea may be to contact one of the antique lure show administrators, I know here in central Florida Bernie Schultz one of the elite series pros runs one , he might be your best bet, Facebook him and I will see if I can find the website to the shows...BRB
sonoman
FATC, Florida Antique Lure Collectors....google that and I am sure someone there knows where and how to get them, I know there are guys that reproduce baits that the fellas use so that they don't destroy a valuble antique lure. I use them behind my props to act as bearings. http://lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Misc-Hardware/Cup-Washers_2.html
TrinityLureCompany
Mark and sonoman thanks for the help. I contacted Kermett Adams and he gets them from the source I found. I was hoping to find a bulk supplier to cut costs. Mark I use the cup washers you were referring to already. The props I am speaking of are a little different. They are on www.walleyesupply.com. Thanks again guys for the help. Mike
mark poulson
Mike, I just checked those props out, and I wish I had some like that! I see why you're looking for a bulk supplier. $2 a p.o.p is pretty steep. Edited December 27, 2014 by mark poulson
TrinityLureCompany
Mark, I am going to check around and see what if any is out there. I am going into an art gallery in April and I think those props with also glass eyes is not an option for the "higher end" customer that will buy from there. Thanks again for the help.
