wootonc Posted January 6, 2015 Report Share Posted January 6, 2015 I am using the do it brush jig mold I currently use the mustad 32786 I was wanting to use a wids gap hook and found the eagle claw L11BP which is a 60 degree bend hook wide gap. smalljaw Posted January 7, 2015 Report Share Posted January 7, 2015 I use them too and the 3/0 in the 1/4oz brush jig makes a nice little finesse pitching jig. One thing I can tell you is that hook really holds the fish well, as I said, my primary use for it is a 3/0 in a 1/4oz brush jig, the angle of the weed guard falls in line with the hook point making it very weedless yet it has no trouble with hook sets, I don't ever recall missing a fish with that jig and hook combo. wootonc Posted January 9, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2015 Thanks cadman and smalljaw you guys are the best I been reading alot of other post that others have asked and It seems that you two have your stuff together. I have the brush jig mold but I purchased a custom mold from shawn collins customs that is like the brush jig mold and took the same hook poured some yesterday and it looks like a very good jig it has a better bait and skirt holder on it than the do it.
