lord of the jig
Do any of you know if any of the lipless crankbait bodies available have that wiggle or shimmy on the drop like a Strike King Red Eye Shad.
jign4bass
The Aruku Shad copies from unpaintedlures.com have a slow sink rate and shimmy real nice too.
Bois d'Arc
TU 2.bmp I've had pretty good luck with the bottom lure in the attached picture. It falls nose down and vibrates slightly as it sinks. BustinBassBaits has them, but $$$ for me. JBlaze
I recently went to the East Tennessee Sportsmans show here in Knoxville and bought something called a Depth Charge. It has that shimmy on the fall. I was impressed with it and the fellow whom makes them claims he never uses anything else and catches bass on it 365 days out of the year. I have not had a chance to take it fishing yet but will post results when I get the opportunity to try it out. The long link below will get you to a video of it. Hope this is what you are looking for. JBlaze
Oops, just re-read your post and realized you are looking for bodies, not finished lures. Sorry. John
aulrich
I was ice fishing with a body from an ebay Chinese supplier, and as I watch the pike ignore it (they were ignoring our smelts too) but this one had a nice wiggle on the drop. Unfortunately the DVR was out of battery or I would have video, I'll be out this weekend and should be able to run a segment, to see it that is what you are looking for.
