archery1
i know hi-lites dont show up an dark colors to good. i bought some of these green pumpkin worms with blu hi-lites and wanted to match color. i didnt no if i could add to much hi lite? seems that i dont get that nice blue shine as these other worms have. is there a better type/ seller of hi lites? DaveMc1
the hi lights won't show up as good on lighter colours, they pop very well on dark colours.
alsworms
Any chance you can get us a pic of the bait you're trying to match?

alsworms
Never used the Do-It brand, but hi-lites are pretty much the same. I think you'll need to go lighter on the base color without overdoing the hi-lite.
SlowFISH
I've only used blue highlights in black.... but I can tell you what I thought was a slight highlight in my basement/house looked completely different in the water... in my case - the blue sheen magnified... my guess is the sun light is far superior to any light I was using. Might wanna check outside and in the water when you get the chance. J.
Bassinfool
Are you sure what you're trying to match is a highlight and not a pearl color? Made that mistake once when I was first starting out.

The reason I ask is because I am in PA and have sold thousands of baits in that color over the years and if they are mine I will give you the recipe.
