gone2long
Just passing it along Alumalite has come out with what they call amazing remelt which is a heat activated mold making material that is compatible with most of their casting resins, I don't have any yet but I can see this as a cheap solution to RTV mold making for resin baits the product can be reused over and over I didn't even catch the price yet but it sure sounds like a great tool for making resin molded parts/baits I guess Larry will be posting a video soon on its uses so stay tuned. I'm thinking about molding 3 D eyes with it in clear cast resin. Oh and I don't see that it will work with heated plastisol for obvious reasons
Jaw
$34 at hobbylobby I picked up some Saturday to pour an Alabama rig mold. It worked pretty good and it's less hassle but I didn't remove it from my pipe mold because it seems soft. I poured with alumalite resin and used vasaline as a release agent but it says use cooking spray. I haven't used it much yet so durability is still unknown but I like it so far
Ichthus
This would sure make casting of real baitfish a lot easier. This way, you don't have to go through two jars of rtv just to get a finished product.
