Be very, VERY careful when buying from wLure or straight from China. For practice blanks and what not, you can't beat their prices, but from a moral, small business stand point I would never sell anything to anyone from wLure. A lot of their product doesn't stand up to heat tests. Whatever glue they're using to seal the bodies together with fails and ends up splitting the epoxy and paint down the seams. Considering how a lot of guys keep tackle in their car, on their boat etc, they would be extremely upset to open their tackle box and find their custom painted lures have melted all their paint and epoxy off, and you would probably end up with a bad reputation for selling junk. I buy a lot from Tekoutdoors, Predator and a friend in the US secretly slaving away making blanks. His costs are much more than the Chinese probably pay, so full scale manufacturing may not be in his future but I keep trying to persuade him. Considering how much I am getting per bait I think I am going to switch over to predator and such. Now what about that friend secretly slaving at making blanks? Does he sell to the public?
