Bassinfool Posted January 31, 2015 Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 Depends on whose skirt you're looking to match. Most are a combo of black, pumpkin seed and a little chartreuse/banana seed. I like to do a half tab of black, 1 1/2 tabs of pumpkin seed barbed wire and then just a little bit of chartreuse maybe 1/4 of a tab. Adds up to around 45 strands. You might like this skirt as it's an all in one, instead of putting strands together. Just a thought. There are a lot of interpretations of a Missouri Craw, some darker and some lighter depends on what appeals to you, and the biggest critic the fish. Painter1 Posted February 2, 2015 Report Share Posted February 2, 2015 I always wondered why they use that name. I have yet to see a craw in Missouri that looks like that. Most are rusty, dk olive, green pumpkin with a bit of orange during mating season.
