DaveMc1
anyone use the do-it x2 colorants? 5oz. bottle is appealing! $10 per 5oz compared to $4 per oz for lurecraft. to good to be true? get what you pay for? If you compare apples to apples it is $2/oz from doit or $1.80/oz from Lure Craft (if you buy a 4oz bottle @ $7.19). to go further it is $0.92/oz if you buy a pint from Lure Craft and $0.81/oz if you buy a quart. Personally I prefer to use certain colours from MF, SpikeIt and LureCraft. The super thick colours can be a pain to work with especially when they settle out (can be very hard to mix) and those 3 companies have pretty much exactly what i am looking for colour wise. edgecrusher
I found that I prefer ISpikeits colours. I also like baitjunkys however their choice is limited. I've used MF and LC too, MF can be weak in some colours, LC I find their tops leak everywhere and tend to get used less as a result.
PeteZipczech
The X2 Colorant is pretty powerful stuff. Many times you're using 1/2 as much as some other colorants which brings the "baits per colorant ounce" up and the "colorant cost per bait" down. I like the stuff, mostly cause I don't have the patience to count 30 or 40 drops of colorant in a batch. lol
Saugerman
I like the x2 do-it colors to. To each there own. They are hard to keep suspended, if not shook often, they can be agravating. But they are plenty strong, and you don't use nearly as much, per cup of plastisol.
